Litomerice, North Bohemia, July 8 (CTK) – Sales of Hennlich, a company producing industrial equipment, topped Kc800m for the first time last year, displaying an annual rise of 11 percent, thanks to a good performance of the Czech economy, the car industry in particular, Hennlich said.

Czech industry posted an annual growth of 6 percent last year, which was reflected in the company’s results, said company CEO Pavel Sumera.

Some new products from foreign suppliers have been included in the company’s portfolio, he said.

Energy chains and dry-tech parts sales saw the biggest hike.

Hennlich also acquired new customers, Sumera said.

Last year, experts developed a special fog cannon with a range of spraying up to 100 metres (coverage area of 31,000 square metres). “A first cannon has been delivered to Colombia,” Sumera said, adding that cannons will also be supplied to Asia.

Sales are projected to grow by about 5 percent this year.

“We think the Czech industry will be doing well, as suggested by data early this year, which should affect our performance,” said Sumera.

Set up in 1922, the company employs more than 250 people in its three plants in the Czech Republic. As a technology distributor, Hennlich represents major industrial producers, mostly from Western Europe, on the Czech market. For some years, it has been developing and manufacturing its own products such as loading spouts and fog cannons, for example.
