Senior Flexonics Czech Announces Record Sales For 2017

Olomouc, North Moravia, Aug 14 (CTK) – Senior Flexonics Czech, a producer of flexible tubes from stainless steel for the car industry, raised its sales annually by Kc14m to record-breaking Kc617m in 2017, while its net profit dropped from Kc129m to Kc94m, according to the company’s annual report.

 

The production volume reached 4,662,726 parts in 2017, down from 4,825,384 parts made in 2016, which was caused by the production shifting to more sophisticated pieces with a higher value added, the company management said in the annual report.

 

Most of the Senior Flexonics Czech output was exported last year. The company supplies its tubes to Jaguar, Land Rover and Bentley cars.

 

The production of tubes for lorries and for household and industrial gas appliances has been transferred from Germany to Olomouc.

 

Senior Flexonics Czech is part of British company Senior Flexonics.

 

In 2016, leadership of Senior Flexonics approved the construction of a new production shop in the Olomouc industrial zone. The investment amounted to Kc276.9m and created 20 jobs. The extension has doubled the production capacity, the annual report said.

 

Senior Flexonics built the Olomouc plant in 2001.

 

Senior Flexonics Czech employed 300 people on average last year.
