Novy Bydzov, East Bohemia, June 3 (CTK) – Toors CZ, a producer of industrial overhead doors, raised last year’s sales by a fifth to Kc442m, projecting a Kc492m turnover for this year thanks to the production of high speed gates that has just begun, company CFO Dusan Simunek has told CTK.
About 75 percent of sales of the company that is part of international group Loading Systems, based in Lelystad, the Netherlands, are generated by exports which were about a fifth higher at Kc331m last year, Simunek said.
“A 16 percent rise of exports to Kc385m is predicted for this year,” he added.
Toors CZ supplies door systems to more than 40 countries. Major export destinations are the Netherlands, Poland, Germany, Estonia and Austria. The systems are also used in India, Vietnam and the United Arab Emirates.
Doors for production, warehouse and logistics facilities make up nearly 70 percent of Toors CZ’s turnover. Its customers include Ikea, Tesco, Lego, and DHL.
Garage and double wing doors constitute 22 percent and spare parts a tenth of the sales figure.
Toors CZ employs 145 people.
The company has expanded its production to make high speed gates because it wants to meet customers’ energy efficiency requirements. This product has big growth potential, according to the company. It wants to produce some 200 high speed doors this year.
