Turnover, Profits Tumble At ERA

ERA TRACKING SURVEILANCE SYSTEMS

Pardubice, East Bohemia, July 2 (CTK) – ERA, a flight tracking systems producer, decreased its turnover annually by more than Kc250m to Kc1.028bn in 2017, and its pre-tax profit declined by Kc116m to Kc226.853m, Lenka Stejskalova Reichova of ERA told CTK today.

 

The company’s revenues were driven mainly by sales of the unique passive surveillance system VERA-NG, Stejskalova Reichova said.

 

The number of countries where ERA exports its tracking systems increased to 63, adding territories including Kyrgyzstan, Honduras and Nigeria.

 

Sales in the civilian and military fields were successful thanks to new customers, and projects of current systems modernisation and expansion.

 

ERA has six main branches in Czechia and Slovakia. It employs 420 people, with a third of them working in research and development.

 

ERA, a unit of Omnipol group, has installed over 100 systems in over 60 countries.
