Tyco Electronics Czech Sales Grow To Kc7.78 Billion

Kurim, South Moravia, Sept 14 (CTK) – Tyco Electronics Czech, a producer of electronic parts for cars, saw its revenues rise by 4.5 percent to Kc7.78bn in its past financial year, while its net profit fell by Kc108m to Kc132m, according to the company’s annual report.

 

Tyco’s fiscal year ended on September 30, 2017.

 

Tyco Electronics Czech is one of the biggest employers in southern Moravia. Last year it had 2,197 employees on average, 94 fewer year on year.

 

The firm continued investing in automation last year. In September it launched production in a new shop floor producing parts for electric and hybrid cars.

 

Tyco Electronics Czech’s customers include car manufacturers Volkswagen, Audi, BMW, Opel and Ford.

 

The company has been on the market since 1969. In 1989 its commercial representation moved from Prague to Brno and in 1995 the company launched production in Kurim.
