Antitrust Office Approves Sale Of Europrint To Czech Print Center

The Czech anti-monopoly regulator approved the acquisition of Europrint by Daniel Kretinsky and Patrick Tkac’s Czech Print Center.

“The Office for the Protection of Competition has concluded that the merger in question will not result in a significant distortion of competition and has authorized the transaction. The decision has already entered into force,” the Office said.

Europrint is the largest printing company in the Czech market, printing newspapers, magazines, leaflets, catalogs, and books. The company said it has 300 active clients and handles 5,800 orders a year.

The Czech Print Center is a part of the Czech News Center group owned by billionaires Daniel Křetínský and Patrik Tkáč.
