Babis Blasts ‘Scandal’ As 6 Positive For COVID at Olympics

Andrej Babis Prime Minister Czech Republic

The chairman of the Czech Olympic Committee (WWTP) Jiří Kejval and the vice-chairman Filip Šuman started investigating the events in the Olympic special, on which Czechs flew to Tokyo on Friday, where a coronavirus appeared. The chairman of the National Sports Agency (NSA) Filip Neusser does not agree with this procedure and agreed with the Minister of Health Adam Vojtěch that the events will be investigated by his office.

There are already six cases, starting with doctor Vlastimil Voráček, who has already been revealed by tests at Tokyo Airport, to beach volleyball player Ondřej Perušič, beach volleyball coach Simon Nausch, table tennis player Pavel Širuček, beach volleyball player Markéta Nausch Sluková and most recently road cyclist Michal Schle.

They all flew to Japan with an air special from Prague. The information was published by the Czech Olympic Committee.

Nausch Sluková has to go into isolation for ten days and with Barbora Hermannová they will not be involved in the Olympic tournament, which they were supposed to enter on Saturday. Schlegel was to ride a 244-kilometer road cyclist race in Izu on the same day.

Schlegel’s positive antigen test was also confirmed by PCR analysis in a cycling village in Izu. He is now back in the hotel for road cyclists in isolation.

According to the WWTP report, other road cycling representatives Tereza Neumannová and Michael Kukrle also went to Tokyo directly for testing.
