Czech Tech Companies Dominate Deloitte Fast 50

Czech companies dominate the ranking of the 50 fastest growing technology companies in Central Europe. A record 21 Czech technology companies made the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Central Europe 2020 list. The logistics startup DoDo came in second place, real estate rentals app UlovDomov.cz came in third, and FAVI furniture search engine is fourth. The winner is the Polish manufacturer of custom packaging Packhelp. In 2019 there were 19 Czech companies on the list.

Deloitte Technology Fast 50 CE compares the growth of registered technology companies for the previous four years, this year from 2016 to 2019. Sales of DoDo reached 8427 percent, UlovDomov.cz 5535 percent, and FAVI 3389 percent. In the second ten of the ranking are three other Czech companies, the online lender Zona (12th place, 1347 percent), the seller of original gifts Manboxeo.cz (15th place, 1279 percent), and cloud experts Stratox Enterprises (18th place, 1099 percent).

In the category of rising stars, companies that have not yet reached the main competition due to a short time on the market, fintech FTMO (FF Trader) won last year. The others are GreyCortex doing business in cybersecurity. A total of ten Czech companies are included in this category.

This year, 108 Czech companies entered the Central European rankings. Sixty-six of them received awards in various categories in the Central European region.

“The results of this year’s Fast 50 confirm that technology companies are doing more and more well in the Czech Republic. Local entrepreneurs are not only successful for the local or regional market. Many of them are already achieving significant success abroad, including the demanding US market,” said the program director. Deloitte Technology Fast 50 CE Jiří Sauer. “The high growth of the awarded companies proves that technologies play and will play a key role in business expansion. The current pandemic situation confirms this,” added Kateřina Novotná, Deloitte’s technology company specialist.
