Another international video game development studio is launching in the Czech Republic. THQ Nordic, now known as Embracer Group, is preparing to open a new studio in Brno. The name has not been announced yet, but the branch will be working on a strategic RPG game.
Embracer already operates in the Czech Republic. The Swedish group has several studios and publishers, including Koch Media. And is the owner of Prague’s Warhorse Studios.
THQ / Embracer opened a development studio in Bratislava at the beginning of this year. The studio is called Nine Rock Games. It was founded on the foundations of the defunct company Cauldron, later Bohemia Interactive Slovakia.
