London/Prague, April 30 (CTK) – Prague-based energy group Energo-Pro issued bonds worth EUR250m (some Kc6.4bn) in London today, and the company will use the income to refinance its loans, Energo-Pro said in a press release.
The eurobonds with a fixed rate of 4.5 percent per annum mature in six years.
A large number of international institutional investors expressed interest in the issue, Energo-Pro said.
Energo-Pro operates hydroelectric power plants in Central And Eastern Europe, the Black Sea and the Caucasus.
The originally Czech company has gradually expanded to Bulgaria, Georgia and Turkey.
Energo-Pro distributes and sells electricity, and trades in electricity on international markets.
The group includes Slovenian water turbine maker Litostroj Power and Czech company CKD Blansko Engineering.
