Skoda Unveils Electric Car Lineup At Frankfurt Auto Show

Škoda launches the Škoda iV brand at the annual IAA auto show in Frankfurt, Germany on Tuesday.

 

Škoda’s first two first electric production models are the ŠKODA SUPERB iV and the ŠKODA CITIGOe iV.

 

Bernhard Maier, ŠKODA AUTO CEO, said, “ŠKODA has entered the era of electromobility. The dawn of this era is marked by the introduction of two models in one go: our first all-electric car, the CITIGOe iV, as the brand’s first step into the E-Mobility era and the SUPERB iV, the brand’s first plug in hybrid. In addition, we’re presenting the latest version of our flagship, the SUPERB, featuring a refined design and new technologies.”

 

Škoda Auto’s first all electric car, the CITIGOe iV, is set to be the most affordable electric vehicle available to consumers in the Czech Republic.

 

The CITIGOe iV will be available for purchase in 2020 at starting price of CZK 429,000.00 in the Czech Republic.

 

The first 500 buyers of the Citigo will receive free charging from a network of CEZ charging stations for one year.

 

The Citigo’s 61 kw electric motor boasts an impressive range of 260 km.
