Turn Over, Profits Up At PSP Engineering

Prerov, North Moravia, July 8 (CTK) – PSP Engineering, a major Czech supplier of complete plants for building material and mineral processing industries, saw its 2017 sales rise by 38 percent to Kc616m, its profit growing to Kc11.7m from 2016’s Kc4m, the company said in its annual report.

 

The sales figure reached levels seen in previous years following a drop in 2014-15, said company board chairman Mykola Narevych.

 

Sales of equipment for cement works and of crushing and grinding equipment accounted for 27 and 26 percent, respectively. Sales of individual machines made up 23 percent of the total figure.

 

Exports amounted to Kc466m. The Czech and Slovak markets constituted 28 percent of the company’s sales, and Russia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan 25 percent.

 

The Hungarian market saw an annual rise of 6 percent, making up 16 percent of the company’s turnover, Narevych said.

 

Other major export markets were Germany, Lithuania, Poland and Egypt.

 

PSP Engineering is owned by Germany’s Alite via PSP Real Estate. It employed 121 people on average last year.
