Czech E-commerce businesses could reach revenues of over CZK 100 billion for the first time this year, Czech TV reports. In 2012 Czech consumers spent approximately CZK 51 billion on internet purchases, in 2016 the figure was CZK 98 billion. This year estimates suggest it could climb to CZK 115 billion.
Czech online retailers anticipate a one-day jump in revenues of tens of percent this week on Black Friday and have been hiring extra staff to cover that day and the beginning of the holiday shopping season.
