Eset Unveils New 200 Million Euros HQ Campus Design

Antivirus company Eset will build a new headquarters in Bratislava for 200 million euros, ie over five billion CZK. The amount includes the acquisition of land on the premises of the former Military Hospital as well as the planned construction, including interiors and the supply of technology. Completion is planned for 2027. The concept of the new Eset Campus complex was designed by the Danish studio BIG – Bjarke Ingels Group. 

The campus is set to become a center of technological innovation, science and research in Central Europe. “Since its inception, Eset has built on its own research, innovation and cutting-edge science. This is why we have succeeded in the global market and become a world leader in cyber security. It is important for us that Eset Campus reflects these qualities. first-class design, but we would also like to apply the latest scientific knowledge in the field of architecture, sustainability and the environment, “said Richard Marko, CEO of Eset.

The architectural concept is being prepared by the BIG studio, which has a number of world-renowned realizations. These include Google headquarters in California, Lego House in Billund, Denmark, and Toyota’s technology incubator in Japan. In the Czech Republic, Slovakia and the region of Central and Eastern Europe, no construction has yet been built according to the design of the BIG studio. The only exception is a few ideas or studies for the construction on Waltrovka in Prague. However, it was not implemented.

Eset plans to create a living place in the former military hospital, which will become the epicenter of innovation and creativity. In addition to the company’s new headquarters and global research center, the 55,000 m2 campus will be a quality and stimulating environment for IT and technology companies and startups, connecting them with technically oriented universities. The campus will also offer a wide range of other useful services and facilities, quality public spaces and will also partially fulfill a residential function in the form of shared housing, especially for interns and company employees.

Eset has been developing security software for home and business users since 1987. It has three development centers in the Czech Republic, in Prague, Jablonec nad Nisou and Brno. The company has a local office in Prague, a global headquarters in Bratislava and an extensive network of partners in more than 200 countries.
