The Social Democrats have selected Lubomir Zaoralek as their nominee for Culture Minister according to party chairman Jan Hamacek.
Mr. Zaoralek previously served as Minister of Foreign Affairs under Prime Minister Sobotka and as deputy chair of the CSSD.
Prime Minister Babis and President Zeman’s have both indicated they have no problems with the selection.
The president will meet with Zaoralek and is expected to appoint him Culture Minister shortly after that.
