President Milos Zeman will appoint Lubomir Zaoralek culture minister on Tuesday, according to his spokesperson.
Prime Minister Andrej Babis told will sign the proposal for the appointment tonight, he told reporters.
Babis said he is confident Zaoralek will be able to manage the culture portfolio and that he is an experienced politician.
Mr. Zaoralek was nominated Social Democrats chairman Jan Hamacek on Wednesday. Zaoralek is set to meet with Zeman on Monday.
