President Milos Zeman will meet with Social Democrat nominee for Culture Minister Lubomir Zaoralek at Lany Castle on Monday, according to the Zeman’s spokesperson Jiri Ovcacek.
Social Democrat chairman Jan Hamacek announced Zaoralek’s nomination Wednesday. Hamacek is confident there will be no problems with Zaoralek’s appointment because President Zeman and Prime Minister Andrej Babis both approve of the candidate.
The dispute between President Zeman and the Social Democrats over the Culture Minister post began in mid-May when former minister Antonin Stanek resigned.
